How Do I Find Camp?
Camp is located at New House Organic Farm, Longrose Ln, Kniveton, Ashbourne DE6 1JL.
As you arrive into Kniveton Village, look for the signs for Lammas Camp, you will come to a bend where there is a single track lane – follow the lane down right to the end where you will see a farm on the right hand side – use the back gate and you will see another sign turn right and follow the path through the farmyard to the top of the hill.
How Does Camp Operate?
We’re a non-profit organisation, with volunteer crew – we don’t take a penny from camp and any profit is reinvested into paying for the next years field hire and equipment.
What If I Need Help At Camp?
We have a crew who are identifiable wearing lanyards. If you have questions, concerns or just need information – ask the crew or visit our welcome tent.
Where Is The Welcome Tent?
The welcome tent is in the field as you enter camp. Outside you can typically find information boards and it is manned most hours of the day with a crew member who can help you with any questions you have.
Do You Have First Aid At Camp?
By law events have to have first aid available on site.
We have qualified First Aiders on camp should you need them. They will be wearing a First Aid Badge on their Lanyard. Please go to the Welcome Tent if you require help, Our First Aiders carry a radio that allows us to contract them throughout the camp.
Where Do I Go To Find Information Whilst At Camp?
The Welcome tent is also the place to go to should you have any enquiries or concerns.
If the welcome tent is closed please go over to the crew area and seek one of the crew. (We all wear badges/Lanyards).
What If There Is A Fire?
We have a qualified Health and Safety Officer on site to ensure the risk of a fire is minimised.
There are fire points around the camp. Please familiarise yourself with the location of the fire buckets. In case of a fire, please alert the crew and anyone in your immediate vicinity as quickly as possible.
