Lammas Camp Rules
We’re not negative nellies, and we try to encourage everyone to have a great time at camp. For this reason, we’ve put together a simple list of rules to keep everyone safe and ensure that we have the best camp experience possible.
Please read these terms and conditions before applying for tickets. Once you have read these pages, please indicate on your ticket application form that you agree to abide by these rules/conditions. Failure to do so will result in your ticket request being denied.
Tickets & Ticket Reselling
Tickets are limited. We reserve the right to refuse ticket applications without giving a reason.Tickets will be sent by email once payment is made and cleared. You are respectfully requested to pay for tickets within two weeks from ordering. It is vital that you save the ticket email, screenshot it or print it and save it. You can request your ticket to be printed by Cherill and posted to you but you must pay the cost of admin and postage. We estimate this to be £2.
Tickets must be presented to the Marshalls at the lower gate and more importantly, to the Information/Welcome tent as you check in. You will be given a wrist band which indicates how many nights you are staying for. No ticket = no entry!
The person who orders the tickets is responsible for all members of their party knowing the camp rules!
Day tickets may be purchased on the gate but customers must leave the site by 9.00 pm.
Please do not try to purchase a ticket or ask someone on your behalf if you are banned from camp. If you wish to attend camp, then submit an appeal to the crew in writing which we’ll consider.
We do not allow tickets to be resold or passed on to others without written permission first and a new order form being completed. Anyone who turns up to camp who isn’t on the official list may be turned away.
Please do not resell tickets for camp on our social media pages. Any such posts or comments will be deleted, and we may impose a ban if you are found to have bought tickets fraudulently for resale use.
Arrivals
Please do not arrive before 2.00pm without prior consent.
Disabled people who may need our assistance, may arrive at 11.00 am by prior arrangement.
Traders may arrive after 11.00 am but must follow the marshals instructions.
On arrival please report to the Marshalls (if they are there) at the entrance to the first field.
The Welcome tent will be at the entrance to the camping field. Also, there is a steep hill to climb in your vehicle to get into the camping field, which can be difficult in wet weather.
Please follow the instructions the Marshalls will give you about this hill and where you must camp/park. Marshalls will also be in the main events/camping field and you must follow their instructions should they give you any. We will try our best to help you if necessary!
Cars
All cars/vans will be asked to park in the first field unless you have a Disability Blue Parking Badge or have been given a Lammas Camp Parking Pass. We will want to know the reason why you have requested a parking pass! We may require proof of the badge holder’s identity on the site. Traders may park near their stalls if storage is needed.
Small motor homes will be allowed on the camping field, but larger ones may be asked to park in the first field, depending on how cramped the field is.
Caravans can park in the main field but your vehicles must go into the first field if required.
This change is due to the cramped conditions of 2014 and the increase in larger vehicles/caravans. Following the Marshalls directions can alleviate the necessity to remove your car from the camping field.
Non – compliance with the parking rules will result in you being asked to leave the site.
Vehicles are parked at owners own risk. The organisers take no responsibility for any vehicle. We suggest that you lock any valuables in your vehicle. The organisers cannot be deld responsible for missing items.
Please do not exceed 5 MPH and turn on your Hazard Warning lights when moving around the field in your vehicle. Follow the one way system at all times.
Please sign out if you need to leave the field at any time and then sign back in when returning.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control at all times. It is a working farm and there are young children around (and adults too!).
All dog mess must be cleaned up and put in the long drop toilets. Bring or use the Eco bags that are available if required at the Welcome Tent.
Please be aware of the safety issue with dogs on tethers or long leads. There are often boundary markers and ropes around the field that they may get caught up in.
Please do not approach any dog without the owners’ permission.
If a dog is found without a lead, or mess is not cleared up promptly then you may be asked to leave the site.
Child Supervision
Please be aware that there is a very steep cliff on the field above camp, so do not allow your children to wander unaccompanied in this area. It’s very dangerous!
Please do not allow children of any age to play on the Hay Bales or in any part of the farm
yard, by express wishes of the farmer.
Some workshops may not be suitable for small children. This is entirely at the parents’ discretion but they may be asked to leave if the child disrupts a meditation. Please be aware of this.
Please ask your children not to play with posts or poles that we have put on the site, and do not allow them to climb on or mess around inside marquees unattended.
No ball games on the field please at all times.
Stalls
Due to the increase in insurance costs, we ask that you have your own Personal Liability Insurance if you want a stall.
This is not necessarily a requirement of having a stall but we would prefer you had cover. We will need to see proof of this insurance and a copy of your certificate must be on display on your stall at all times.
If you do not have insurance, you MUST sign a disclaimer on arrival at camp.
Please note that you are responsible for your own stall and goods displayed on them. The organisers will not accept any responsibility or liability concerning any aspect of your stall.
You will also need to bring your own table, chairs etc.
Fire Pits
There are a few fire-pits available to loan, but you can bring your own. However, they must be kept off the grass. You must bring your own wood to burn or logs can be purchased from the farm. We do not supply you with logs.
Anyone caught stealing logs intended for the central campfire and paid for by us, will be asked to pay a fine of £20 or asked to leave, at our discretion.
Water
taps. Please, in your own health interests, do not use the water from the portaloos as drinking water! There is also a third stand pipe that is NOT suitable for drinking. This is well signed so please take care to use the correct stand pipe.
Toilets

Abuse & Harassment
ANY aggressive or violent behavior, racist or homophobic language that is directed towards crew or visitors will be dealt with by INSTANT EVICTION and an automatic ban from future camps run by us.
You may appeal any ban by contacting the Crew in writing. Crew decisions will be final.
Noise Nuisance
Please note that we DO NOT allow the use of generators in our camp. We come here to get
away from noise and pollution.
We also do not allow the playing of music from a radio or mobile device if it can be heard by other people. In a caravan or motorhome is ok as long as those outside cannot hear it. You may be asked to switch off music if it is reported to or heard by a member of crew.
The farmer has imposed a drumming curfew of 10.30 pm. Please abide by this.

Camp is meant to be fun and relaxing – our biggest rule is to ensure that you enjoy yourself and have a great time.
